[November 2023] Our research on cyber-physical security has been selected as one of the "Top 100 Outstanding Achievements in National Research and Development" for the year 2023. 박경준 교수가 “2023년 국가연구개발 우수성과 100선”에 선정되는 쾌거를 이뤘다. “국가연구개발 우수성과 100선"은 국가 발전을 견인하는 과학기술의 역할에 대한 국민들의 이해와 관심을 제고하고 과학기술인들의 자긍심을 고취하고자 범부처적으로 우수한 국가연구개발 성과를 선정하는 제도로서, 올해로 18년 차를 맞이했다. 올해는 각 부‧처‧청이 선별하여 추천한 총 854건의 후보 성과를 대상으로 산‧학‧연 전문가 100명으로 구성된 선정평가위원회 평가와 대국민 공개검증을 거쳐 최종 100건의 우수성과를 선정하였다. 박경준 교수의 “사이버-물리 융합공격을 자동으로 감지하여 방어하는 지능형 네트워크 기술”은 네트워크설계기술과 제어이론을 융합하여 사이버-물리 융합 공격을 실시간으로 방어하는 세계 최초 지능형 네트워크 기술이다. 사이버-물리 융합공격은 사이버 상에서는 문제를 발생시키지 않으면서 물리시스템 상태를 조작하는 방법으로 기존 사이버보안 기법으로는 대응이 어렵다. 박경준 교수는 이를 해결하기 위해 네트워크설계기술에 제어공학을 융합한 새로운 기술을 개발하였다. 한 분야의 기술로 해결하지 못한 문제를 융합 기술을 통해 성공적으로 해결한 연구성과로서 큰 의의를 가진다고 할 수 있다. 한편, 올해 “우수성과 100선”에 2건 이상 선정된 대학은 DGIST, 서울대, 연세대, 고려대, 성균관대, KAIST, POSTECH이며, 4대 과학기술원 중에서는 DGIST와 KAIST만 포함됐다. |
